The culmination of a long time dream happened on 6/16/15. My first book, The Protector Project, became available as an ebook. (It became available in print 2 weeks later.)

I’d pitched the book to Chris Keeslar with Boroughs Publishing Group in July of 2014 at the Romance Writers of America conference. The email from the editor at Boroughs who was interested in purchasing my book didn’t come until December 2014. In fact, I’d completely forgotten about the pitch, you know, with the holidays and work and everything so the email took me completely by surprise.

Lots of edits back and forth as well as at least 2 long phone conversations with my editor, Camille Hahn, and voila, a real live published book was born.
Since I was teaching that day, it was very special to celebrate with the staff and students in our summer enrichment program. Best Day Ever!
