Write to Learn – Interest-Based Technical Writing (Thursday, February 11 – pm)

The journey starts with an enticing choice – what do you want to learn? Art History, Forensics, Botany? This thoughtful approach to technical writing appeals to students who like to know things as well as students who like patterns and structure.

Beyond Modeled Writing – When The Teacher Really Writes (Friday February 12 – pm)

You wouldn’t send students on a field trip unaccompanied, but you might leave them writing alone in the wilderness. Bring YOUR writer’s notebook and get ready to explore ideas to integrate into your teaching life as well as your writer’s workshop.
